Good for you Ruff Rider! I think that shows character when you hang in there and try again. So often people feel so incredibly rejected. You will do great at Depot with that kind of perseverence. ;D
July--looks like you found someone that is going in May also--hope it is the same Troop #.

Oh my God...I just finished reading 167 pages of postings...I'm so tired...my eyes hurt...it was almost like reading a soap opera script.
Thanks to everyone for the information!! I'm just waiting for my BI to finish (O Div.) so I'm basically obsessed with thinking about the process and the possible future so it was a very interesting and informative read.

anyone sitting in the background stage, waiting for the go ahead to go to Depot at the end of summer? Im in K div and that is my current situation. They told me end of summer i would be looking at. BGI is almost done and they only started about three weeks ago, that is including two provinces! drop a line if anyone is in my boat. Cheers

It seems nobody has posted here in some time, so I do not know if I will get an answer. I just finished my polygraph out of 'O' Division a few days ago. I was just curious as to how long people found it took recruiting to get back to you about wether or not you would be moving forward in the process.
Another issue, still with the polygraph, is that myself like others I am sure had to own up to some things that I am no proud of. Specifically in my case I had to admit to a theft that I was involved with almost 5 years ago. It was a product from an employer in the amount of about $100-$150, I cannot even remember at this point the exact value.
Anyway, I am really hoping that this will not forbid me from employment with the RCMP. If it does than that is my fault of course, and I will regret it for the rest of my life (even more so). In everyone's experience, do people think that this will cost me the job? Another issue is the legal issues with admitting something like this. If I am not retained to go forward in the process, would people say it is likely that this issue would be forwarded for investigation? I am hoping not, it was a mistake and I regret it, but I hope that my honesty would not cost me a legal charge.
