CONGRATS-ACE 13!!!! Who's next at bat,JAMAF?!! GLENN??!! Its getting to the point that there will be no one left to "talk" to here on this site(you'll all be in the academy, er DEPOT!!!!) I guess Jay will have to change the site to copsthatare,LOLOLOL!!! I went to the academy in the fall (Nov'90) and can remember the cold air mornings and days,but the excitement of JUST BEING THERE made me forget about that 6month cold I graduated with ;D- do your best and stay in contact with all the other RCMP hopefuls,they'll need some of your insight....

Hey guys, Well it is 6:20am NF time and I'm ready to begin my 12 hour journey to get to Regina in a little while. I've got a milk run flight, flying from St. John's to Toronto, Toronto to Thunder Bay, Thunder Bay to Winnipeg and Winnipeg to Regina!!! Not to mention the 3 and a half hour time difference once I get there. I wouldn't say I'll be too swift for Monday morning classes. And to top it all over, it might be -14 degrees!!! lol But I'm sure I'll adjust, my adrenline and excitement alone will get me through this week! I intend to buy long underwear at some point  Anyway, good luck guys and take care. Cadet Ace13 |

I take it, with the end-Nov start date, that you weren't able to head off immediately to Regina like they've done with most of the recent cadets. Did you want to give your employer some notice first, is that the case?

All right this is just getting silly. I called my recruiter today and asked how things with my file were going. She told me that they were just waiting for part of the field investion to come back. The only problem is that the field investgator has an eye infection and wont be able to see anyone for another week.  AAAAA On a more productive note I also called the medical division and I have my medical clearance.. ;D So I guess you have to take the good with the bad.  |

Great Fred, Message me if you want and we'll chat. So guys, I made it alive and well, almost got all my uniform, just waiting for my pants to come back from the tailors. It's hard getting used to getting up so early and going to bed so late, but it's working so far!! I am starting the settle in and my stomach is adapting to the food. Don't get me wrong, there are great meals here, just some that don't sit well!!! Good luck to all waiting and keep me posted.
