Security Interview expires? Sorry for the above but, not a real question gets not a real answer. ;D Seriously though, as I understand it the security interview is valid for 12 months from the date conducted. Its not usually an issue since it doesn't usually take 12 months to get to depot after your security interview...unless your in Ontario

With the recent implementation of SFPQ scores into the RPAB score, does anyone have an idea of what would be a competitive RPAB score now?

Not a real question? Do I have to be super wordy to get to my point? Which was, security interview expires; tell me more. I didn't realize that I had to conform to a certain way of posting in order to garner respect.
Thanks for the reply.

You asked one question... which received the correct answer?
Yes - Security does expire and for obvious reasons - as in, you could do something in that time that would you make you fail security.

Hey Journey,
I thought this site was to allow applicants and those interested in learning about the process a place to do just that.....learn! I think that the question of "security interview expires?" is a complete and valid question. We don't all have endless hours to blab on and on for the sole purpose of showing everyone how smart we think we are!

Not a real question? Do I have to be super wordy to get to my point? Which was, security interview expires; tell me more. I didn't realize that I had to conform to a certain way of posting in order to garner respect. Thanks for the reply. Respect had nothing to do with my response, it had to do with my making a smart ass comment. If you had left off the question mark, it would have been a statement. If you can't take a little sarcasm from some stanger on the internet, how are you going to deal with it as a cop? Maybe you missed the big yellow sarcastic smilie at the end of my statement? In regards to "respect", as a cop you're going to have your first contact with a person to "gain respect" or be SOL in your dealings, perhaps you should keep that in mind for day to day dealings as well? Just a thought. Your welcome for the answer. Hey Journey, I thought this site was to allow applicants and those interested in learning about the process a place to do just that.....learn! I think that the question of "security interview expires?" is a complete and valid question. We don't all have endless hours to blab on and on for the sole purpose of showing everyone how smart we think we are! Oh man...did I not answer the question? Yes this is a forum for asking and learning, I never said it wasn't or even implied it in my post. Am I not allowed to make a comment to rib someone about a three word "sentence"? Have I "blabbed" on for hours to prove "How smart I am"? I just feel that if you can't take the time to post a conherent full sentence to ask a question then what else do you not take the time to do right?

Sorry guys, I didn't intend to take out my shitty day on anyone. Journey I apologize. On another note, at what point does one do the psych test? Also, what is involved in the background?I'm sure that this has been addressed previously but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for your reply

Also, what is involved in the background?I'm sure that this has been addressed previously but I can't seem to find it. Thanks for your reply No worries. Usually the psych is done after the BGI has started, around the same time as the medical, but that may change here in "K". The background is a verification of everything you've told the RCMP throughout the process. They will talk to your friends and family, verify your employment and talkt o past and present employers. They will verify all your previous addresses and speak with old neighbors and land lords..etc. Any differences between what you've told them and what others say will be further investigated. Hope that helps.
