Hi, Im probably on my way to depo within the next month. Just wondering how much luggage, how many bags is reasonable to take with you? And how much you are allowed to take on the plane? I also have a mountain bike is it worth while taking it? Thanks any advice is appreciated L

You want to take a MTB to Regina? You're kidding right?

That ISBN comes up empty. Try using google and search for "ISBN: 0921642385" sans quotes.

EMSaddict:
So you think I'm an asshole but you can't say it? Hmmm, if I was you I'd stick to being EMS (if you even are). If you can't handle the comments I made without getting petty you won't make it as a cop. Truth is, if you're worried about being too tired or sick at depot then you're a pussy.
good luck, you'll need it.

Alot of people here are on their way to being at depot and have questions and concerns. If you don't have anything other than a sarcastic statement to offer, why are you posting? And just so you know, I DON'T think you are an asshole, I don't even know you. I am sure you are a great person when you are taking your meds. Cheers!

I wasn't being petty or sarcastic, I'm serious. If these are the things you're concerned about then you need to reconsider. "I DON'T think you are an asshole" ? That doesn't make sense. Look at what you just posted. You obviously called me an asshole. So you're scared of getting a cold while at Depot AND you're a liar?

Guest,
Let me be the mature one here and say that I am sorry. My original post was meant more in jest and not intended to insult you, nor start a long chain of posts of senseless chatter. We are wasting peoples time by bantering, as well as interupting valuable questions and answers. Please accept my apology, and if you feel you must get the last word in, go ahead, I will read it but won't be responding to it.
Cheers.

Guest, Thanks for the help, i realize sask is flat. You dont need mountains to ride a mountain bike. It works just fine on flat trails and roads thanks. What i was asking is if it was worth while brining time wise. Directed to the people who have made it to depo, is there any free time for activites such as biking or tennis? L

I think the concern isn't about there being mountains, it's about the fact that you have Veeeeeeeeeeery limited storage space, for a few items at most! What are you planning to do while you're there, put the bike in a storage locker in the city, and pull it out on weekends?

Thanks, I did not realize there are bikes there to be signed out. What about storage for suitcases how many would you suggest brining and is there a place for storage other that under your bed? L

I just got called to go to a 1-hour interview with a Seargeant at the recruiting HQ. I don't know what it's about, and the lady who called me couldn't tell me either... I doubt it's bad news, because they're still asking me to go recertify on my PARE... but it's still got me a bit nervous.
Anyone have an idea what it might be about? Has anyone else gotten to the 'last stage' of their application and then had to go through this?

I've got my security interview on Monday afternoon. Any last minute tips on getting through it? I know that the interview is more to determine what type of person I am, but any advice given is appreciated.
