I waiting for my call and the lady at headquarters told me that all the troops for 2003 are all filled. I am on the short notice list incase someone can not make it, then they will call me to fill in. Check out my site; www.geocities.com/paulrcmpPaul, I see you found this forum also. Good to hear you're still going strong. I went in to 'swear in' and then sign the final paper. It's official, I am just waiting for a spot in Depot now. I was told that the January spot is taken, so I figure I will go in either of the following two months. One thing I am concerned about is that in Feb it will have been 1 year since I applied and I might have to fill out forms again.....not sure if this will happen or not. Anyway, hope to see all of you at Depot in the new year. Cheers!! ;D

Anybody here in the October selection period in O Division? Or in O division still in the application process?
I am waiting for my Selection Interview and want to see if other people have heard anything

RMB2004 I think you need at least 3.2. But when I did the test the lady told us that around 4 and your probably in. Good luck
That being said I got my package and still don't have my mark

Hi JSRX,
I've been in O Division selection process since April 2003. I passed both my interviews in July, but still no word from the BGI. Hopefully this was just an end-of-the-year delay, and I'll get a call or letter from them soon.

RMB2004, I know of applicants receiving packages with scores as low as 3.6 (that is for a white male) in E Division. As far as setting a goal for you to reach as a score, I would suggest you prepare yourself as if you need 4.0 or higher to get a package. That is what I did, and it is paying off. The higher your score is, the quicker you will proceed through the process. If you strive for excellence now, it will pay off in the future.

EMSaddict...
Don't worry too much about having to re-apply. The majority of people at Depot are in the application process between 1.5-2 years! Patience will pay off in the end.

Quick question regarding the PARE...
what exactly is a controlled fall and how is it done? I know you need to do one right after the 3' wall and 4 between the push/pull stations.
Have a happy new year everybody!!

I wouldn't call it a controlled fall as much as it is just laying down on your stomach or on your back and then getting up.... Not as hard as i thought it would be... very easy
