Hang in there BCRCMP Wannabe. My advice to you about depot is to stay motivated and focused. Don't get mixed up in any "university like" behaviour and remember that you do have a goal. Use your time wisely and work hard. Take each test one at a time and don't let the stress of being at Depot cloud your mental focus. The experience is better when you enjoy it too! Good luck

Well, I finally got the infamous phone call! ;D ;D ;D ;D

After a tiresome but worthwhile wait, I am finally heading off to the Ranch!

Exact date is not known but tentatively Jan. 20 was suggested. Needless to say, I am very excited. I will have more information sometime next week.

For those of you that are still waiting, hang in there!
Your call will come and then the world around you will changes! Wow!

Doesn't sound like the best news.

Make sure you review your application so you don't sound like you are waffling on dates, etc if asked about them. you want to stand firm on what you sent them. Any change in answers or dates might hurt your chances if they think you were not being truthful in your original aplication.

Most likely they just need some minor clarification but be wary. However the same thing happened to me. They said they needed to clarify the reasons why I was DQ'd from other forces. I told them the reasons I was given by the other forces. Probably lies in retrspect as they will never really tell you the truth as to why you were DQ'd. Needless to say they did not take my word over the other forces and I am out of the running with the RCMP forever.

Perhaps law enforcement is not the career for you if you have been DQ'd from a bunch of forces.

Guest, it's that attitude and immaturity that probably got you DQ'd from other forces and to tell you the truth, you seem like someone that does not take constructive criticism well and therefore it wouldn't matter what other forces told you, you would still not believe them about why you were DQ'd. If you are not a "cop2be" why are you on this thread? It is a support group for law enforcement officers and applicants.
