hey....... what to expect in the final medical ........ and on the final streach but am getting stressed out now also what happens if u screw up your final PARE do u get another chance ro do u have to start again(shines problem ) ................................ i spoke to recruting and there comment was there is no group in NOV as my medical is in Oct , I should expect Jan/feb yyt C'mon, dude, the hard part's over. Relax. PARE, shmare, even an out of shape fellow can push it hard for four minutes. You'll be just fine. |

Recently, I was asked by Recruiting to rerun the PARE. Keeping in mind that I am still in the process, the letter stated "If the PARE test is failed, you will be rejected from the recruiting process."
I am assuming that you only get one chance at it, otherwise you are deferred and the process starts again. So, stay fit and stay grounded. Focus on other things that can help you take your mind off the waiting process. Jag

I am green with envy, but soon enough I guess yyt - hoping you are wrong about no troops in Nov. cause that is my tentinative date to go...  hehe Goose - my land you crack me up.. I enjoy your smart arse comments, probably because you beat me to them BWAHAHA  I did my medical in two sections, did the doctors and the dentist on different dates so it didn't seem so intensive.. and it is 16 x-rays on your teeth.. yup.. try doing that 5 days after having 3 wisdom teeth pulled!  captain airport.. Alright....I got myself all registered up....don't know why....maybe I'm afraid of someone using my name while I'm away. Don't mind the photo....AND PLEASE DON'T SMOKE KIDS. Ok...back to my story......so recruiting tells me that my next phone call should be THE CALL. So last week I get a message on my machine telling me to phone recruiting....I get the rush in the heart...I call back, leave a message....the weekend rolls around....phone monday leave a message. Then I get a call today. Now to my disappointment the person tells me that my file was being reviewed for completeness and any overlooked areas...then she advises me that a piece of my background investigation has to go back out to 'fill the hole'. So I burned a litre or two of adrenalin and nervous juice over the past few days.......oh well. What is a few more weeks of waiting. Oh, and they said that there are troops going in Oct and Nov....so who knows. I guess this makes it even for all the comedic jabs I gave to a few of you However, they won't stop any time soon |

Hey RJB, Just curious, why did you end up waiting till October to write? Good Luck Mostly because I am an idiot. I was going to write last January, but I had a schedule conflict that I could have easily resolved but didn't. And I was going to write in August but due to a very hectic schedule I had 0 time to prepare anything (my math is horrible).. in retrospect I should have sucked it up and wrote in August. I am really kicking myself knowing that I have to wait until April to get my freakin' package. As a side note, all those applicants do not forget my new MSN group groups.msn.com/RCMPApplicants/ |
