Boy.....I thought I would take a look at a discussion on the poly interview.....and I ran across this thread. It is more of a humor tread. It is amazing how personal people get here. YIKES! However, out of all the Cops2be treads, this one made me laugh. Some of the back and forth word fighting was amusing. I have actually learned NOTHING about the poly exam, however, the comedy break was nice to read. Keep up the comedy....it relieves the stress of waiting for recruiting to keep your file moving.  |

If you are truely interested in learning about the poly interview I would hit the www.antipolygraph.org page. It is invalluable. Problem is I read it after getting defered because of the poly. The site is pretty much the same as this. Some great info and some cat fights and name calling between pro- and anti-poly people. If you read between the posts and are fairly openminded you should find some real eye opening info. Some of the info regarding what others have had to go through during their poly can be found in the Personal Statements section. It should give you a great start. Keep in mind that all the personal statements are anti-poly or in reference to negative poly experiences but definitely worth the read. I would also recommend reading Georges book. If you want to plausibly deny that you studied countermeasures just skip those parts but for the most part the book describes in great detail what happened to me during my CPS poly. Word for word. I wish I read Georges book before I took my poly. |

Well, I just want to put all this crap at ease. This guest guy keeps posting crap on my website so I just want to call for peace on all of this because its not worth the time to keep up with the bickering. So "GUEST" I agree to disagree with you, and I apologize if I have offended you or any of the other anti-poly people. The only reason this discussion got so out of control is because I didn't want to read everything I've read before (about the anti-poly) but it is information that should be taken a look at just to get a better idea of different techniques about the exam. you had an interview with your recruiter at 3pm yesterday. Came home and immediately posted you are shutting the page down. You got nailed.

Dude, wtf? I would tell you if that was the case. If you really want to know, I will tell you. But I won't tell the world on this internet forum. Since you seem to be the only who cares and the only one who wants to see me fail at what I want to do. But I'll be more than happy to tell you privately just to get you to drop it.
