JMays, stop touting how YOU specifically posted you don't want to see or read the antipoly "crap" as you so eloquently put it. If you don't want to read that sort of discussion (which this site is all about) start your own website. Don't come on to a free discussion group and tell us ("specifically request") what we can and can't post.

Trust me when I say you should be paying more attention to what Goerge has to say than the LE officers regarding the poly. George is doing nothing more than posting his view and knowledge regarding the poly. He makes some very good points you would be neive not to listen to them and say thanks.

If I may make a little note regarding your person. I don't think you have the patience and demeanor it takes to be an officer. Your temper and way of dealing with people and things that irritate you are very abrupt. Should you happen to get in a force somewhere I feel for the person you arrest or come accross that calls you a name and pisses you off. I feel for you, it will mean your career.

The mature person, who didn't agree with the antipoly side, would not read Georges posts at all if they bothered you that much. At the most they would read his view points, laugh and move on to more constructive endevours.

If I were you I would be paying more attention and worrying about the Psyc exam. Your attitude and mentality are sure to raise the red flags when you take that. If you have nothing to hide regarding the poly, why are you so worried and obsessed with it? I would start studying the psyc portion of your aplication. That is where you should be directing your anger!

Jmay I have to say your responses show intolerance & a lack of control. If you dont agree with the anti poly guy and were upset that he posted on this thread, you could have stated that in a respectfull manner. You and your views would have come across in a greater lite, had you done so.

This shows character, maybe one day you will be a officer & if you are comfortable around your superior, you'll make some jokes about inappropriate things... the jokes might get a laugh but when it comes to crunch time and your being hit with allegations, that same superior will have a assesment of you thats not so great. So like I said all of what you do shows character, you should be respectfull, even though some dont believe in the anti poly guys opinions they're not calling him names.
I'm not saying you would get caught up in the above scenario, none of us know you that well, but again everything you do shows character!

I would have figured you would still be givin er here on the forum? My guess is the poly bit you in the rump?! Got your letter saying thanks but no thanks eh?!

Oh hey "guest," your a moron. Yeah, I haven't posted because I'm not going to argue your idiotic ideas anymore. Actually, they are currently working on my background investigation. I will then be notified. Our state has recently cut the police budget so they keep delaying the next academy, thus they aren't in any hurry to get any recruiting done. As anyone in the process knows, it takes a while to get from step to step. I have not received any "thanks but no thanks" letters. I was notified today by one of my "references" that they received a phone call from the recruiting office. So that has to be a good sign. I'm not a crack head who gets busted for doing drugs like some "guests" i know. So to answer your question, I am just waiting...
