RJB2003....... I just missed the October Bloc.
Peichick....... No, I had an injury to my hand and recruiting wanted me to wait until it completely healed. I just went for testing for my hand in September. I'm currently waiting for the results. When that is cleared, I'll have to take the PARE and hopefully get another start date. I'm forecasting January.

Okay, okay, I have heard about patience but............. Is this not a good sign? I wrote the RPAT in July and still not a word. Does anyone know when the blocs are? I'm not sure if I have already been through one and am now waiting to go through another......... Is it true that there are only 2 blocs a year? I am beginning to think that I wrote my address down wrong..........   |

Update on my progress..who said "O" division is slow  (I must have started at the right time I guess) September 15th, 2003 -- Wrote RPAT October 14th, 2003 -- Results (4.46) Ocotber 29th, 2003 -- Got the package (they said interviews won't start until Feb.) I'll be movin to NS next week, so they're going to transfer my files there. |

Security and RMSI-April 03
Psych/dental/x-rays/bloodwork/final medical-June 03
Background Started-June 03
Background Completed-Sept 03
File sent to Edmonton-Oct 03
File has been sent for final review/approval -Nov 03
Medical Signed Off - Jan 04
Asked to Rerun the PARE May04- Passed
Got the call - Off to depot in Sept!
For those in the process, hang in there and be patient, it's worth waiting for!

YYC, I am in Calgary as well and the field investigator who completes the background search called me to ask a question and while I was on the phone he told me that he wanted to complete my file by the end of the week and send it in to recruiting. So, I don't know if I would have found out it was complete had he not called for the other reason. Sorry, not much help.

Folks I recieved the package in the mail last Friday. A quick recap of the brief timeline June 30th, 2003 - info session August 28th, 2003 - Wrote RPAT October  , 2003 - RPAT score 3.77 Ocotber 31st, 2003 - Received package from courier The letter states no interviews will be conducted before Feb - whatever that means. |
