It's just talk right now. But when I was at Depot for summer student training our faciliators said it would be bumped to 25 weeks. But there was no set day, week, month or season this would be happening.

And after 22 weeks, what's 3 more??

spoke with the reg member that was doing my final security check sign off yesterday. recruiting staff said that all is looking well and i can expect to be on the nov 2 or 16 troop. the next call is "THE CALL"

my chickens are hatching...i can almost count them.

That is such great news! Congrats! That won't give you long to pack and say goodbye to family when you do get the official call, but that's awesome all the same. How exciting for you, keep us all posted!!!!

Hey all,

I just found this board, so figured I should sign up. Here is a quick intro:

I'm currently attending my final year of University and will graduate with a B.A. with a major in Criminology and minor in Psychology. This past summer I was a Summer Student with the RCMP. I also just started the application process here in "D" Division. Currently I am waiting to write the RPAT.

From what I have been told, the application process has really been accelerated here in Manitoba. I guess I will find out in the up coming months.
