I was told that since the next selection period is in April, I might get an enveloppe before my RPAT results if i'm good enough. Since it's going to take time before the RPAT results are sent out, they're going to go directly to the processing place and fish out the candidates with the best marks and send them packages right away instead of having them wait for the October selection. That's pretty cool, I might get something in 1-2 months  |

Woww that is unreal!!! I haven't heard that happening. I am through the interview process and awaiting my background to start. That is a little frustrating not hearing anything.

Hello Martr, Wow that would be awesome getting the Big Envelope instead of waiting for the marks to come first. If you don't mind me asking, what Prov are you from? My wife is waitng for her marks as well and the next selection here is in april too, we are from NB. Wouldn't that be awesome getting the mail to find that Big Envelope sitting there. ;D ;D  . I'm from "A" division.  right in the Ottawa region. Maybe that's why they can just go at the processing place (in Ottawa) to fish out results. One way or another, it's good news for me! |

Your likely right that they can fish out your file quicker cause your close to Ottawa ;D That is really good news for you. I hope that they could do the same for my wife before she drives me CRAZY waiting for her score, LOL. She has been waiting for 15 weeks now and we know of others here in NB that never heard anything yet either  ........ Tim |

Well, all you guys are lucky. I wrote my RPAT in Sept and still have not gotten the results!! Goin on 7 months now. So if you think you've been waiting a long time then just think of me.
I have been in contact with recruiting and apparently the results got sent to the wrong address and then bounced back to Ottawa. So now they have to change my address and update it in Ottawa's database and get it re-sent. I don't have much confidence in ever seeing that letter! Call me crazy.
But anyway, the head of recruiting said I did pretty good(but they can't tell me the mark...apparently is HAS to come from Ottawa) and I should get a package...but I still have my doubts. I'll beleive it when I see it I guess. If they do send me one, they better send it to the right address this time!!
Well I hope this helps anybody out there getting frustrated waiting for results...it's a mad waiting game but that's it...there's no changing it. Fun times.

pare jan 25 2004 - 3:55 (with bronchitis)
interview feb 11 2004
dental mar 6 2004
final medical mar 30 2004
still working on my background( I moved around quite a bit in the last 10 yrs - three provinces!
just waiting on the phone call now!
rec'd a letter on April 5 stating my file is still in bachground and suitabillity

So it seems I got my score before the package.. it came in on March 24th (date of the letter), but since i'm basically moved in with my gf now, I only check my mail once a week.
I got 3.99!
woo!
now I wait for a package!
