hello all,
well i've been following this message board for quite some time. its been excellent hearing about peoples accomplishments, and even more encouraging hearing about people overcoming obstacles in their application process. myself, i've been deferred from the RCMP after my interview. this means that if i decide to apply to this department again, i must endure a two year waiting period....i know it sucks. but i figure that i'm still young, and it was a great learning experience. for those of you out there in the same boat as me, what have you done, or are planning to do differently with yourselves. do you think you will apply again? i know its a long wait, but this is something i really want, so i guess i have no choice. there is the possibility of other departments, but i'm not that motivated at the moment. but i still think that waiting it out is the best choice. if anyone could give me some advice, for those of you who have been through this before, that would be appreciated. i'm trying to stay positive, motivated and trying not to get discouraged, but it's hard. i guess only time will tell. later.
