I recently posted in the RCMP thread, but decided its worthy of its own topic. Add to the fact that more people will see a new topic... hopefully. Any help would be very appreciated
"I am currently not in the recruiting process as of yet, but will be writing my test in a few months. My only problem is that my vision is not up to standards and I will have to have laser surgery. My problem is I really don't want to spend the money on the surgery unless I get into the force. I'm assuming they don't really care, and you have to go through with the surgery and then pray to the big guy that you will get in. Has anyone else been in this situation? And what did you do? Any help any of y'all could give me would be very helpful. Thanks a million!"
