I just have a quick question regarding the RCMP medical. I am a very healthy person but my only concern is about 10 years ago, i was told by a doctor that i have a form of mild arthritis in my lower back. It hasn't bothered me since. I was wondering if this would be cause for DQ on the medical.

do you have full range of your movement? that is all they test for during the medical for that aspect. If it isn't a problem, don't mention it. There should be a spot on the forms for you to check that off... do so, but say that it doesn't bother you anymore. "old problem" I didnt' mention anything about having the knees of a 90 year old...I can still do everything. no biggy.
good luck.

If you do mark it off in your prelim medical info, be prepared to get notes from your family Dr, at least, saying that it isn't a problem. I checked off "problems with the joint and back" (had knee surgery years ago) and I had to get a letter from my Dr stating that its no longer a problem and doesn't limit me in any way.
