Yeah, I got stuck with a deferral. Any ideas what I do when it's up? Do I re-apply just as before, or is anything different the next time around? Any info helps, Thanks.

Why Did You Get Defered? I feel your pain, today/tomorrow are going to suck...but you know what, its 1 year...dont' worry about it. Build yourself up, kee going...if its what you want in life, why would you quit now right? Different? Well what did they say was wrong this time..whatever it is, make sure its different GOOD next time  Yeah, I got stuck with a deferral. Any ideas what I do when it's up? I can undersatnd. it will take some time to get over all those feelings.I also got defferred in March 2003 for 2 yrs and I'm counting every single day.I would suggest you to take time and improve youself and work on the stuff you got suggested during your interview. Take care......

Sorry for the slow reply, been real hectic in my life lately.
The deferral was for 2 years, whick really sucks. I smoke some marijuana about 1.5 years before the interview. I know it was a mistake at the time, and walked away right then, but too late. It really sucks cause the interviewer said the he thought I'd do really well and had a lot to offer, and he'd try to make the deferral as short as possible, but I just screwed myself. Now I'm looking at options, wait another year and a half to re-apply, go for Vic or Van or some other municipal force (in BC I think). We'll see. It really sucks cause I have no one to blame but myself. It's killing me now but I know it won't kill me and I'll just be stronger for it in the end. At least smarter anyways.
