Man I took the Phyc test for the R.C.M.P. and ever since I've been going over the answers in my head and wondering. I answered soo honestly that I hope I don't get booted because of it. You know when you think of something and then just keep overthinking it in your head, ya that's what I've been doing. Has anyone else thought that after answering 567 questions?

Ry Answered too honestly? They want you to answer completely honestly. If a red flag comes up because of the psych, you will go for an interview with the doc.. she will then decide if you are insane.

RJ, Psych tests measure a number of things. They do check on sanity, but more so focus on emotional factors, as well as mental stability. In police work you will come into contact with many disturbing and emotional situations. The Psych test will measure how you respond emtionally and your ability to control your actions (it measures within reason). It is possible to fail this portion. A dq in this area does not necessarilty mean your "insane", it is possible your too emotional for the job or lack of temper control, just to name a few. If you answered honestly they will evaluate your situation accordingly. More importantly, no need to dwell on it, you can't change the answers now!! Good luck.
