Hello all,
Just checked the RCMP recruiting site and noticed that they changed the name to written exam to RPAB. The site was last updated on 26 July. It appears official that they're including the Six Factor Personality Questionnaire (SFPQ) score into the total score. According to the website:
"An applicant’s RPAB aggregate score is based on both the RPAT score and the SFPQ’s Conscientiousness score. The total score will be comprised of roughly 60% RPAT and 40% Conscientiousness scores. Applicants will receive written feedback on their performance for both tests including a score for each of the seven components of the RPAT."
The preparatory guide has its name changed as well and it now includes a section on the SFPQ. They also mentioned that "raw RPAT scores will no longer be included in any subsequent feeback regarding RPAT performances in that the raw scores on their own are not interpretable."
Well, when I wrote mine a few weeks ago, I thought they were still collecting SFPQ data and that it won't be used in the selection process...I guess I'm wrong. Wonder how this is gonna affect me.
