Hi all:
I have a quick question. Is the medical done by the RCMP's own doctor or do you just schedule an appointment with your own family doctor.

For 'F' Division, I did my medical at Depot with the division doctor. I only live 30 minutes from Depot, so perhaps my situation is different.
For the Par-Q 'medical', any family doctor can sign off on it.

It goes in your medical file, so... forever. You'll be getting regular check-ups throughout your career, and it all goes in your file. Not to worry, medical files aren't available to anyone except the doctors. All anyone else would ever know is if you can't work, and for how long.

Thanks you, but if I was excluded based on my medical, as an applicant, will they keep that or will the file be purged and I am off to a freah start?
