Just out of curiosity, does the R.C.M.P. test for steroids?

Just taking a guess here, but since they test for almost every known medical condition I would think that they do a very thorough tox screen on both the urine and blood samples. Besides, if you're using steroids, you're using an illegal drug (to my knowledge anyways) which would disqualify you pretty freaking quick... On side note, heard of a poly/drug story the other night...There was a guy doing his poly with CPS, examiner asks him when is the last time he did drugs. Guys answer - no shit - Oh, about an hour go. I was really nervous about the poly so I had a hoot to calm me down....  |

A person COULD be doing Steroids through prescription....
But if that where the case I am sure they wouldn't have a problem with the drug... They might with the medical reason that necessitated taking that drug...
But I would imagine there is a disclosure form at some point with the RC process... I haven't filled one out but I am just at the sending in the package spot. If it's similiar to the CPS disclosure and you didn't put steroids under the drugs part that would be hiding something and I should imagine grounds for immedite turfage from the process. This would likely black list you from every other force as well..
Every application I have seen asks if you have ever applied at any other force and if so what is the status. I would bet they check up with each other. And if you lie about drug use you would be done with EVERY force. If you lie about applying at the one you lied at well it will come out eventually and it would be time to find a job that doesn't need a security clearance.

what about hydroxycut and fat burners? are you allowed to use them at depot?
