I kind of figured that my letter would come the same day that I posted that message about not getting it, and sure enough, it did. So now that I have that, and I'm scheduled for Feb.22 for testing, what can I expect? Lots of memory and reading comprehension, some math, things like that? I'd really appreciate some feedback so I know what I should be brushing up on.
Thanks everyone!

Phil, don't worry too much about the test, it isn't that hard. Brush up on your reading comprehension and memory skills as well as practice those comparison sketches in which you have to determine which sketch matches the original. I recommend going to the library and taking out a study guide like Barrons "Police Officer Exam". It is helpful and will give you a better idea of what to expect.

Thanks for the advice. It's interesting that you should mention Barrons, as that is the first book I picked up. I also purchased Learning Express' "Police Officer Exam", and I have found that one to be a little more helpful than Barrons. Regardless, I will study both and hopefully my honors English skills will come into play on test day. Thank you!
