Hey there I'm new to this site.
I am going to an info seminar on March 1st does any one have any suggestions for me.
Also I'm alittle worried about taking the (RPAT) how long does it usually take before you go in to take the (RPAT) after the seminar. Trying to get an idea as to how long I need to wait.
Thanks everyone!! ;D

It's not that I don't want to wait. It's just that I'm excited about going to the seminar and to get started with everything.
Was just curious as to how long it takes before you do the (RPAT) then the (PARE). Wasn't sure if it all happened one after the other or if it was spaced out.

Depending on the Division, you will generally sign up at the info session to take the RPAT in one month's time. They should have different dates to choose from 1-2 months out. Re: the Pare... it all depends on when you get a package. If you were to go to an info session in March and take the RPAT in April, your results would go into the October Bloc based on my limited knowledge. If your score is good enough to receive an application package in the October Bloc, you would be running the PARE sometime between late October and early December. I am in E Division, so other divisions may be different in the order/timing.

uuummm...if you don't want to wait then this is the wrong profession. I think the next RPAT is in april.....be prepared to wait a year or two before you start. The average wait time for my troop (which started earlier this month) was about a little over a year from RPAT to Depot. The fastest entry was six months and longest (without talking deferrals) was a couple years, but most of those long ones were complicated by health and vision issues that needed to be resolved. My entry took a little less than 14 months. I'm from E and that time seems pretty consistent with other E Div'ers.
