Hey all,
As you all know I have been a reserve for 7 months now, I just got hired full time for a department. I won't have to move and my wifes commute won't be altered so that made it alot easier for her to accept. I don't know exactly when I will start academy because there is a shortage of spots available.
I am pretty excited about the whole thing. To anyone out there with the chance to do reserve work they should go for it. It helps out alot in the oral boards already having been through some of the situations that they throw at you.
Any way best of luck to everyone, and remember to respect each other.

Congratulations on getting hired, and good luck through the academy. Friends of mine who have completed academies told me a good thing to do to prepare is do lots of stretching along with the cardio, many academies send recruits home for injuries, (pulled muscles etc) which can be prevented farily easily. Just a little insight, good luck stay safe.

Hey Trevor;
My best to you and congtrats on getting hired.
I got to visit your beautiful state this past summer, my wife loves lighthouses, and we got to see a dozen or so.
Good luck, JimCMR

hey everyone,
Well today will be my last post for quite some time I think. I am leaving my "day" job today and going to the Windham P.D.
I am also moving to a new house this week. When it rains it poors. I have alot of new things to get used too. Throw in my 6 month old and things really start sounding like I must be nuts. ( We all are to some degree)
Well anyway my absolute best of luck to all the cop2b's and thanks for all of the knowledge I have gained from this sight. I don't know how much time I will have to spend on the computer in the next couple of months, so for now.......goodbye.
Thanks again to everyone.
Sincerely,
T.COTE
