Hi all
I was wondering what to wear to the appointment with the psychologist, as the RCMP want me to do a follow up.
Casual, suit...?

At LEAST a nice shirt+tie. I would go for a suit, wouldn't hurt. It never hurts to be over-dressed. Being under-dressed can be very unprofessional and embaressing though...

I can only imagine the psychologists thoughts no matter what you wear...
"Hmm he's wearing a suit, wonderwhere the feelings of insecurity come from..."
"hmm, only wearing a shirt and tie...obviously an over confident person."
"A t-shirt and jeans?? who does this guy think he is, a cop or something!"
;D ;D

I wore khaki pants and a golf shirt to my follow up with the psych. They are more concerned about what you have to say than what you are wearing. Be sensible about it..no ripped jeans and stained t-shirt. For those interested I passed the psych and just waiting to hear back that my medical has been cleared. Last I heard they hadn't seen any problems.

THanks,
How long was the visit and what kind of things did they go over?

Mine was only a about 20min. and they just wanted clarification on a couple of my answers. I think the length of it depends on what exactly is wrong with your results. Some people have to write another test called the "STALL" test. I believe another member from this board had to do it (i think it was Jag) you may want to check back a few pages on the RCMP thread, there may be some info on it.
