Im having trouble remembering the dates from my past employment (back in high school i went through quite a few jobs) is there a place that keeps all those records or do i have to call each employer see if they keep it on file.
Also i smoked weed proably 5 - 10 times in high school (that was many moons ago) all experimental, never bought it or sold it just tried it, im just curious is this has any bearing on an application because it was so long ago and i was "young and dumb" Thanks for the help and info

Exactly how long ago was "so long ago"?
On the surface you have a couple of deferrable points right off the bat, so you might look into waiting to apply.
Spotty employment history and repeated drug use aren't going to work for you. That being said, assuming it is somewhere in the neighbourhood of 5-10 years since your "issues" the best thing I can suggest is to go month by month. For example, think what was I doing in January of 1996; February 1996 and so on. If you miss a job that you gave your SIN, it will pop up on the background, and your investigator will have some questions for you. You might be able to check with Revenue Canada to see if they have a ROE for you.
