Hey everyone, just found this forum. It looks great! I was wondering if anyone knows what the RPAT cut-off would be for a white-male in "H" division. I've just begun my application process for RCMP (I've got the info session tommorow)I live in Ontario right now, but will be moving back to my home province (Nova Scotia) soon. Is it more difficult to get recruited in one province or another?
Thanks, CAW

"Visible Minorities" are 3.2 for all provinces with the exception of "V", "G", and I think "E". All the territories are 3.2 for everyone I belive....As for Nova Scotia, I have no idea I'm in "K", and it used be 4.13, but was dropped to 3.9??. If you are a white male I would say you need a MIN of 4.00 to get a package...Anyone else have other/different info?

I think in E division for a white male is 3.5 (or around there)

O Division for the April 2003 cutoff - White Male needed 3.96 to get a package

Imagine how I felt when I needed a 4.13 in "K" for the Sept 02 cut off...

Well maybe I will need to spend that $50 to take that practice exam from policeprep.com then....

It's your call but if you only need a 3.2 or 3.4, you should be able to pull that off. It's mostly common sense stuff, and memory. I used the Baron's Police Exam Prep book...It was pretty good. I pretty much just skimmed through it and did a few pratice questions...usually while sitting on the can...and I got 4.07...Imagine what I could have got if I REALLY prepared!! ;D

Personally, I would go with the Norman Hall guide. I found it a lot more useful and relevant.
