Hello all,
Yesterday was Memorial Day in the U.S. as you know and it is a day to remember the people who fought for freedom, one of those freedoms being the freedom of speech. This evening or morning whatever it may be as I read posts and reposts to the topic polygraph exam I was shocked and amazed by the way some of the people on this board responded/acted. Some of these people that plan on being a cop and deal with annoying, obnoxious or different viewed people, yet they cannot keep their composure and rude comments to them themselves here where really all that’s going on is someone expressing there Ideas and Thoughts on a ***FREE*** message board. The fact of the matter is people have comments about what other people say that’s the way of life in America and other countries that have freedoms. How do you expect to become a cop when you can’t keep your cool here. Yes maybe George is correct or maybe he is not but the fact is, it is his viewpoint and he is entitled to it. Just as you are yours Jmays and others and if you did not want to hear all sides of the answer to your questions why on earth would you post on a website visited by thousands of people with viewpoints different and similar to yours. The question that is now faced is how will you or the others who have slandered or become rude to George's views react on the streets when someone gives you an answer you do not want to hear. All of you should be ashamed of yourselves for the way in which you have acted and seriously considered if working in a career where you must maintain composure at all times is in fact the right career for you. I apologize in advance if you feel as though I have slandered or hurt you in any way but the fact is the way we treat others here on the screen (not face to face) is a good indication of what we will do in public. But no matter what we need to have it stop and treat everyone and their views with the respect that they deserve.
