hey,
I have been filling out alot of applications lately and am confused on what I should put down for my college backgrounds. I dropped out of a major college in my first year, then a year after I dropped out I went to a two year technical school and recieve my associates degree. I am wondering if I include the first school. Will this show an effort to go to school or show that I am just a college drop out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

T; I'd suggest on your app. that in the college space you put the school where you received your degree. Usually at the end of the app. there is a space for additional information. There I'd put the other school and dates, and note any credits acheived, if any. That way you are covered, and not trying to leave out information. There are many reasons for dropping out, and should not be held against you.
