More Oral Board Questions

TO ALL

Just a couple of more oral board questions from my oral board today.  
A child asks you "Why do Cops drink Beer?"
In order of precedence 1 2 and 3 what is your ranking of these statements
Taking a person to jail
Issuing a traffic citiation
Helping a citizen with a problem
Why?
You and your partner arrest a suspect. as your partner cuffs him a wad of about $200 falls to the ground.  Your partner pockets the money and never mentions it again as you book the guy.  What do you do?
You go to a party and the people there start smoking pot what do you do?
I think I gave some good answers.  Just put this out to maybe help someone else later.  Thanks to all you posted earlier that helped me out.  TJ

    For starters understand that I am not a cop. This is just my opinion as a wantabe l.e.o.
    You did get get asked a interesting question. Why do cops drink beer.? My answer to a child would of been that cops are people too, and that just because someone drinks beer doesn't make them an alcholic or a bad person. cops for the most part are all over the legal age to drink.
    I have alot of friends that are officers and they all go by a common slogan. "Don't sh*t where you eat". In other words it is real hard to arrest someone in a bar for being drunk and unrully if you were sitting next to that person getting drunk the night before.
