ok, so I'm filling out my background check booklette and they want to know ALL of my previous employers. How in the hell am I supposed to remember all of them. I'm 24 and within the last 10 years I've had about 20 different jobs (don't most highschool students?) On top of that they want supervisor names, exact addresses, telephone numbers, and dates and tell me if I disclose all the info that my app won't pass. Anyone have any suggestions?

Adam You can go to the Social Security office and request a report of all of your prior employment, as far back as your first job. This is not the same thing as the report that you receive in the mail that only reports what you have earned for each given year employed. I have encountered a similar situation; Although I don't have as many jobs in my employment history, I do have a couple that I don't have contact info for. I don't know if they will charge you for this or not, because I haven't gotten mine yet, (I will be soon ) but I have been told that you can get the names (or at least the parent company) of all of your past employment. It would be worth a try, and maybe then you might be able to contact the company headquarters, main office or whatever is relevant, to at least obtain the names of your past supervisors. Good luck, Lisa
