does any one know the requirments to be a deputy in laurel co Ky or the state of ky is?

Without trying to sound snotty, may I suggest you call the county sheriff's office. They are usually happy to provide this information, and it will be complete information. They will also tell you when and if apps are being taken. By waiting for an answer here, you could be missing out on a hiring cycle.

kyChris--I would also recommend that you check some of the following sites for more information as well: www.ih2000.net/ira/ira.htmOR www.officer.comI think either site can provide you with links to just about any agency you can imagine, including agencies in Kentucky. Keep in mind that agencies and states sometimes differ greatly in terms of their requirements for someone to become a law enforcement officer. And, as somone has already suggested, why not contact the agency you are interested in to find out more information about the qualifications to become a deputy? Who would be better ask than the sheriff's department? And, I am sure they can also tell you anything else about the State of Kentucky too. Charlie |
