For those of you who are continuing to be processed after the interview, were you told at the end of the interview that your application would be continuing? Or, did you have to wait to get another letter or call that the interview was successful? I did the PARE yesterday and now wait for an interview. Thanks.

There are two sections of the interview. The first is the "life experience" section. If the interviewer thinks you have the life experience and you have answered and presented yourself appropriately they will proceed to the next section. This is the security suitability phase. The interviewer will go through a list of questions relating to financial debt, criminal record etc. Assuming this goes will they will tell you right there that they are recommending you proceed in the process. Good luck in the process.

One of the few parts of the process where you get an anwer right away, kinda nice. Did you beat your 3:23 in the PARE?

Guys, just to let you know that when i did my interview (about 18 months ago), i had to wait two weeks before receiving a letter saying that i was going to the next stage...so dont get too nervous if they dont tell you that you have passed right away.
As i said before, it is all worth it!! Good luck!

I was pleased with my PARE time. I did it in 3:20. Pretty good for a 42 year old guy. There was one other guy running it and he did it in 3:12. I figured he was about 21-22 years old. I met with my recruiter the day before the PARE to hand in my application papers. Since I currently work for the RCMP as a civilian and I have Top Secret clearance already, she said they wouldn't have to do the background check again. That would speed things up for me anyway. Then she asked if I was ready to go to Depot anytime. Of course I said yes. Then she said it could be as early as this August/September. That kind of blew me away and to hear her talk like that kind of gets your hopes up. I'm trying to maintain an even emotional keel though.
