I know I haven't written a lot or haven't posted a lot messages, but i want to thank the people that gave me advice a few months ago. I have signed up and am shipping out to Air Force BMT in the beginning of June. Then I'm off to Security Forces Tech School. I can't wait to get started in the LE field. Thanks again. Good times.

Hey Josh, nice to hear from you! Congratulations on heading to BMT, and good luck. Just remember that it is a means to an end and you will do fine. Keep your focus while in BMT and tech school, and you will do well. The real Air Force is nothing like BMT and tech school, you will understand what I mean when you get there. ;D I wish you the best of luck; let us know how you are doing when you get a chance. Good luck to you from an old airman.
Good thing you going through basic in June. I went in August....HUMID!
Just do as you told and don't take anything the Drill Instructors personally & lastly don't make yourself standout. You might get a duty you don't want.
I opened my trap and was the guide-on bearer throughtout training. The good thing was that I got out of most of the cleaning of the barracks duty.
Good luck to you. I hope you get a great assignment after you get out of tech school.
