By now I'm sure most of you must have seen the video clip of the Inglewood CA PD officer bouncing a a Blk Teenager off the back of the patrol car , then "sucker punch" him. Alot of back yard ACLU and street corner "community activitists" are trying to make it out as if its the second "Rodney King" incident,but it is not-there was no racism involved, only a rookie officer with poor decision making, and lack of supervision.The media latches on to whatever it can to make officers look bad(Bashing the "MAN" is always a good thing, btwn advertising slots), but to any of you "2bes" and current officers I urge you to use common sense-That young officer is probably going to lose his job and a lot worse under todays political climate.Nobody is going to care about what a suspect does to you(except your friends,partners , and family) but they will always remember you roughing up "that helpless kid(AKA local Gang banger) or the poor ol' guy (AKA parolee at large)".I know that I can't say I've never seen that happen before in 13yrs on patrol, but It isn't worth it , nor is it right . Remember we "beat" them by putting them behind bars,issuing those pesky and expensive citations, and impounding their cars when they forget that lil' ol' issue of suspended license, and when we continue to patrol in front of the dope spot and burn their sales! you can't take it personally when you wear the uniform(despite the frustration),because in todays society where everything is measured by political correctness , the prison issue is doled out to both crooks and cops that stray- good luck to all of you on the way "2 being" .....
