Hey. Im in a criminal justice college and getting ready to put an application in with the US Marshals service cooperative education. This is basically a paid internship and can get me a foot in the door.
I would have to go through the whole process of medical, drug, psychological testing. I've never been arrested, healthy, and drug free and believe i am qualified for the position but I have one problem that may cause a DQ. i have obsessive compulsive disorder and have to take celexa. OCD is an anxiety disorder( for instance, like handwashing and germ contamination) and celexa is an antidepressant used to treat OCD. This disorder would not interfere with the job. Will the medicine be an automatic DQ? or if my doctor writes a letter stating that i am suitable for the job...Would that qualify me? and could this fall under the disablities act? any info would be helpful..please reply thanx
