Turns out the message he left me wasn't clear . . . the new guy was getting a test day on my route so the boss didn't want me there at the same time. No big deal.

I've been touchy since I failed the test. I know it's no big deal - plenty of people fail one part or another. My biggest hurdle is the physical part. If I shape up properly, I'll be fine. My background is ok, I'm a fairly intelligent guy, and I've got the guts to keep trying. That's got to be worth something.

At first you don't suceed try , try , try again. If you want to see a roller coaster ride of trying to get hired then read my journal. I had been trying since the day I left the military and I was a military police and that was March of 1990.
Not only that but there are at least 70 percent of the people on this website that are wanta be cops and a small percentage of actual cops. What I 'm trying to tell you is that it will happen maybe not with your first choice but keep plugging away and it will happen. Try going through all the interviews and jump thru all the hoops for them to tell you ok but no thanks, you may reapply.... Now thats the pits. Keep you chin up and keep at it. If it means that much to you then when you finally get it it will mean a great deal more. K.U.P. good luck
