Ace 13 thank you for all your reply's I am quite dumb at all this still I still am not quite sure what you mean by make it by October, they never really explained to much to us just that we have to wait for our marks to get back and then they well let us know what the next step is. I would kinda like to now what to expect and then not have so many wonders. What would you say is a good mark to be considered? How many times have people written the exam and does it chage each time?

Coltray, there are two selection periods for the year, April and October. Anybody who has written will either be selected or not selected for these periods. You have two chances of being selected. So for example, if you didn't score high enough on for October selection, you are put back in the pool with the rest of the applicants for April's selection. With regards to what score is high enough, it depends on how other people in your pool scored. As well, if you are female or a minority, you probably won't have to score as high as a white male to make the cut. I think that there are three or four different versions of the exam, so chances are that you would not get the same exam twice if you wrote again. Here in B division (NF) the cut off mark was about 4.25 this time around for a white male. I scored 3.90 and made the cut, but I'm female. I don't necessarily agree with this, but needless to say, I was happy to make the cut. You know that you have to score 3.2 to pass, but the higher you score, the better your chance will be. What province are you in? Hope this helps. Ace13
