I have been thinking of a career as a leo for a couple years now and have finally grown tired of dead end jobs. Would I be considered to old to begin a career as a leo as I will be almost 30 by the time I complete my schooling?

Jamis--I seriously doubt you'd be too old for most any LEO job out there BUT,....you'll have to check with any agency you apply with to determine their specific desired applicant qualifications. Agencies usually have a max age requirement but I suspect you'll fall well below the maximum age limit no matter where you may decide to make an application. Some agencies out there don't have an age requirement!  Usually, an otherwise qualified applicant must pass all phases of testing including the physical agility test. I think you'll have no problems with regards to your question. ;D Charlie |
