Hello everybody, I am just about to hit the backround part of my testing for the position of police officer. I have a clean backround for the most part. I do however have a couple of municipal citations on my juvenile record and one misdemeanor that was dropped. I was wondering if the police department has access to my juvenile records or if they are sealed because I have attained the age of 18. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanx Pliceman

mikey3--I think this is going to primarily depend upon WHERE you live and any applicable local, state or province (Canada) laws that may apply. Other than that, I cannot really answer your question further. If you can, I would suggest asking someone in the legal profession familiar with the appropriate laws that may apply to your situation.
